IT Manager
Job Summary:
IT Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of information technology systems within the organization. This role combines legal and technical expertise to ensure the efficient management, protection, and utilization of the company's intellectual property assets. The IT Manager will work closely internal employees, and external stakeholders to implement innovative IT solutions that support our processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the IT software and databases to ensure accurate tracking, documentation, and management of all information.
Collaborate with business teams to develop and implement IT support of workflows.
- Technology Integration:
- Identify, evaluate, and implement technologies that enhance IT processes, including data analytics, AI, and machine learning applications.
- Collaborate to ensure seamless integration of new and existing systems with existing enterprise software solutions.
- Data Security and Compliance:
- Develop and enforce IT security protocols to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
- Monitor and assess risks related to data breaches and establish policies for data integrity and confidentiality.
- User Support and Training:
- Provide training and support to internal stakeholders on word processing, document management and management tools and best practices.
- Serve as the point of contact for technical issues related to firm IT systems, facilitating troubleshooting and problem resolution.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Track and report on IT systems KPIs and metrics to assess the effectiveness of systems and processes.
- Prepare and present reports to senior management on the status of IT assets and technology initiatives.
- Project Management:
- Lead IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet the needs of the stakeholders.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for proposed IT initiatives.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including docketing, illustration, and accounting to ensure alignment on IT strategies and technology needs.
- Communicate IT strategies and initiatives to stakeholders in a clear and effective manner.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in information technology.
- Proven experience in IT management.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a results-oriented approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Experience with data privacy and security best practices.
Preferred Skills:- Familiarity with database management and software development principles.
- O365, Hardware refresh, firewalls, VPN access, help desk and admin support
- Exposure to emerging technologies, such as blockchain or AI, as they pertain to IT management.
- Certifications from Microsoft (Microsoft 365, Azure) are a plus.
- Certifications in project management (PMP, Agile) or IT service management (ITIL) are a plus.
